Stephen King's The Mist

The hubbie and I went to see Stephen King's The Mist yesterday. We went to the theater earlier, as all old folks do, and saw a matinee. That's the best way to avoid the crowds and the annoying teenagers. lol.

Anyway, it was pretty good. One of those movies that make you think and relate what you would do in the same situation.

There's was this crazy bible-thumper that kept preaching at the people trapped inside (away from the weird spider-monsters and such), and I found myself laughing at that a lot of the time. Religious zealots tend to either make me laugh or make me stark raving mad. But I digress...

The movie is good -- there's a lot of action and creepy crawlers trying to kill people. I would highly recommend it, if not for the ending. It was so depressing, I walked away feeling like I needed to scrub my brain clean.
